Dr. Tzeng elevated to IEEE Fellow.

Congratulations to Dr. Nian-Feng Tzeng, a Professor at The Center for Advanced Computer Studies, who has been named a Fellow of the IEEE. His citation as IEEE Fellow notes his "contributions to parallel computer systems and scalable routers".

IEEE Fellows are an elite group from around the globe. The grade of Fellow recognizes unusual distinction in the profession and is conferred by the Board of Directors upon a person with an extraordinary record of accomplishments in any of the IEEE fields of interest. The accomplishments that are honored have contributed importantly to the advancement or application of engineering, science and technology, bringing the realization of significant value to society. Each year the IEEE Board of Directors elects no more than 0.1% of the full members to the grade of Fellow. The IEEE looks to the Fellows for guidance and leadership as the world of electrical and electronic technology continues to evolve.
